H1N1 Flu update (revised 12/13/09): WATCH FOR UPDATES. Currently we have H1N1 nasal flumist available (see below for who is eligible). We will be getting H1N1 vaccine shots for all children ages 6 months and older starting the week of 12/13/09. Parents of our children who are less than 6 months old may get the vaccine at our office.
We will be having H1N1 Flu Vaccine Clinics on Tuesday afternoon and Thursday morning. Please call for an appointment.
In order for you child to receive the H1N1 nasal spray (flumist) available, your child must be 2 years or older and have no history of asthma or wheezing in order to get this vaccine.
The Department of Health Kaneohe should be receiving a supply for vaccines also. For more information please call them at 247-2191. In addition many of the elementary and intermediate schools will be having H1N1 vaccine clinics for enrolled students starting in mid November.
